New Senior Managers

Jun 28, 2017 / Uncategorized

HWI leadership is shaping the company’s future as a leader in global refractories. So, it’s not surprising that we recruit talented experts to help move the company forward with a whole new level of intensity — better manufacturing processes, higher safety standards, and an even greater culture of accountability. Two new additions to the company’s senior management team are Gildas Dupouy, senior director, Operations, and Thomas Raught, director, Environmental Health & Safety.

Dupouy is responsible for the monolithic and precast operations at several of the company’s North American and international manufacturing plants, including HWI’s new monolithic refractory plant under construction at The Point Industrial Park in South Point, Lawrence County, Ohio.

According to Douglas Hall, senior vice president, Integrated Supply Chain at HWI, “Dupouy is well known and respected in the global refractory industry, recently working with Imerys as director of operations for its Carbonates Division in North America. His leadership and experience will be a key enabler in our continued efforts to drive manufacturing excellence across the ISC plant network.”

Hall also has high praise for Raught, who is responsible for all environmental and safety activities across the company.

“Raught’s experience, leadership, and commitment to a safety culture will be a key aspect in our ability to continue to build upon the excellent safety performance we have achieved so far in 2017,” says Hall.

HWI’s people bring intensity, reliability, and passion to work every day, to provide superior value to our customers and their businesses. Dupouy and Raught fit the mold.
