HWI, A member of Calderys, has successfully completed construction of a new lightweight monolithics production facility at our Rotary Kiln complex in Fulton, Missouri, USA.
This state-of-the-art plant marks a significant investment in the Calderys Group’s growth strategy for the Americas, boosting HWI’s lightweight monolithics production capacity by nearly 60%. The expansion enhances product availability, shortens lead times for customers, and incorporates advanced technology and automation—including a new furnace and fully automated robotic packaging and material-handling systems.
This new facility expands our production capacity for GREENLITE® aggregate-based products, helping us overcome previous capacity constraints and accelerate delivery for our customers. Equipped with advanced automation and modern technology, the plant strengthens our ability to support key industries with high-performance, energy-efficient refractory solutions.
This achievement marks the next step in the journey we shared one year ago, when we announced the construction of this new lightweight monolithics facility at our Fulton, Missouri, Rotary Kiln complex.
