Air Placement Cement Company was founded in 1951 and has grown from a regional gunite and refractory contractor into a well-established refractory service provider supporting customers throughout the eastern and central United States. Acquired by John M. Hill, Inc. in 1976, Air Placement expanded its capabilities while maintaining a strong focus on refractory construction, maintenance, and outage support. Air Placement serves industries including power generation, iron and steel, aluminum, petrochemical processing, pulp and paper, mineral processing, and waste-to-energy.
