HarbisonWalker targets 25% refractories capacity increase
May 9, 2019 – AIST reported that Pittsburgh based US refractories manufacturer HarbisonWalker International is boosting production capacity by 25% at its key steel refractories plants as it looks to keep pace with demand from steel mills. It said “Much of the investments will focus on its White Cloud Mich plant, which will receive new warehouse and shipping space. The expansion also includes a new brick press and packaging line, as well as manufacturing technologies that will improve production efficiency and worker safety.”
