HWI celebrates the winning project of our team in Brazil at the Calderys Group Sustainability Awards 2025.
The Calderys Sustainability Awards recognize outstanding contributions to sustainability across three pillars: People and Communities, Environmental Footprint, and Customer Energy Transition. The 2025 Recognition Ceremony took place in London on March 26th, 2026.
Among the top winners: the Greener Alternative in Mold Flux Production project, developed by our team based in Guaratinguetá, Brazil. The initiative explored the use of renewable, bio-based material as a replacement for conventional carbon in mold flux production, reducing the environmental footprint of the manufacturing process while maintaining the product performance that customers rely on.
This project reflects HWI’s and Calderys‘ shared conviction that sustainability must be embedded into product development from the very start, and that innovation is how we get there.
