Reactivation Carbon Plants

Activated carbon, or activated charcoal, is primarily used in water purification in hundreds of industrial applications. Spent activated carbon can be recycled or calcined back to its original form in multihearth furnaces operating at temperatures over 2400°F.

KX-99®-BF, a dense, high-fired super-duty firebrick, is ideal for multihearth furnace linings. KX-99®-BF provides enhanced alkali-attack resistance and stability up to a 2400°F operating temperature.

UFALA® is a dense, 60 percent alumina, low-alkali-impurity firebrick for multihearth furnace linings. Its benefits include enhanced stability up to 2600°F and superior alkali resistance to increase lining reliability. It is produced in hundreds of different brick shapes to meet your changing needs.
