Melissa Bihary wins Women of Influence Award
Chief People Officer Melissa Bihary was recently named as one of the Pittsburgh Business Times’ 2023 Women of Influence!
The awards honor the most influential businesswomen in the Pittsburgh region who are changing their industries and impacting their communities. Each winner was honored recently at an event in the UPMC Club at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, as well as in the May issue of the Pittsburgh Business Times.
Earlier this year, HWI and Calderys combined to create a global refractory provider with a comprehensive product portfolio and expanded reach. Melissa was nominated for this award in her previous role as VP, People & Organizational Effectiveness at HWI, and has since been promoted to Chief People Officer for Calderys, our global company.
