Monitoring the Risk of COVID-19

At HarbisonWalker International, we value our relationship with our customers and treasured business partners. During this time of uncertainty surrounding the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic, we want to communicate the precautionary measures we’ve instituted to protect both the health and welfare of our employees, as well as our whole supply chain of refractory products and services.

Regarding the safety of our employees, we’ve put measures in place for business continuity and customer support, all while vigilantly protecting our people from unnecessary risk. We’ve implemented all appropriate protocols recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We are also developing plans for continuity of operations in the event that any of our employees are directly impacted by the virus.

Additionally, we are intensely focused on continuing to ensure that our supply chain provides an uninterrupted flow of materials to customer locations. At this time, our supply network is well-positioned with finished goods and raw materials ready for conversion so that we can maintain consistent, high quality supply of the great refractory products customers have come to expect from us.
