New Senior Director, Marketing

Aug 09, 2017 / HWI News

Today, as a dynamic, forward-thinking global refractory leader, we’re working intensely to make a positive difference for our customers and coworkers every day by anticipating, responding, and delivering like no one else in the industry. That’s why we’re excited to have Steven Sternberger join HWI as senior director, Marketing.

With more than 20 years of business-to-business marketing experience, Sternberger is providing proven leadership experience across all aspects of marketing, from strategic planning to product management, market development, segmentation, market research, digital, communications, and channel marketing.

“I am excited to be working with the talented Marketing teams at HWI on initiatives to create and communicate value for all stakeholders in HWI’s target markets,” said Sternberger. “And to join a leadership team committed to a unifying vision — to be the first and only call for industry.”

“We are so pleased to welcome Steven, particularly as we are embarking on many new initiatives that are building the future of HWI, and in many ways, evolving the future of the US refractories industry. It’s an exciting time to join the company. Steven’s marketing leadership and enthusiasm will greatly benefit our team at HWI, as well as our customers,” said Carol Jackson, chairman and CEO, HarbisonWalker International.
