HarbisonWalker International’s dedicated Value-Added Service (VAS) team provides on-site management, installation, equipment, inventory management, heating solutions, and testing. And most recently, problem solving.
Our team traveled to a customer site to perform a shotcrete installation, only to find out that this furnace design was different from those encountered previously. This different design allowed for a hotter that normal condition in the area they typically have to run the delivery pipe/hoses through. This was causing the pipe and hoses to see extreme heat that could cause material to set in the lines. After some careful thought, consideration, and anticipation, while delivering like no one else, the team developed an alternate plan to redirect the delivery pipe to a different part of the furnace and completed the job successfully and on time.
