Gasifiers fed by biomass fuels in a non-slagging circulating fluid bed reactor at 1800°F can produce syngas for ethanol plants, municipal solid waste plants, and other biomass plants. The syngas is then used as a fuel for gas-fired turbines or steam turbines to produce electricity for these plants or to produce steam.

ON-LINE® 60G AR, a dense, dry gunning mix for circulating fluid bed (CFB) reactor linings, offers exceptional resistance to alkali attack during reactor operation. A high placement speed of 300 pounds per minute will help limit downtime during a plant maintenance outage.

KALA® is a dense, 50 percent alumina fireclay brick for circulating fluid bed reactor refractory linings. It will resist the 1900°F operating temperature, alkali attack from process chemistries, and hot abrasion. It is produced in hundreds of different brick shapes at multiple production sites to meet your changing needs. KALA® brick linings are also more tolerant of radical changes in weather conditions during installation.
